Copenhagen harbour - choose the west side for peace and quiet
The eastern bank of Copenhagen’s harbour is not as crowded as the western side at Islands Brygge can be. It is gaining momentum now that the second harbour bath has openened. ‘The wave’ is a wooden system of piers from where you can jump right into the clear waters or just stay on the deck and enjoy the sun.
When you reach Copenhagen Mall (Fisketorvet) it is possible to cross to the other side of the harbour by the Bryggebroen Bridge. It is for pedestrians and bicycles only.
